There are words we carry like medals. One of them is freedom<\/em>. I chased it for years, often without really knowing what it meant to me. I looked for it in glass offices with a badge around my neck, in meeting rooms filled with invisible hierarchies. <\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

I imagined it as a horizon just beyond the next bonus, the next promotion, the next company-branded slide. But at some point, I stopped looking for it out there. And started building it from within.<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Becoming an independent consultant wasn\u2019t some bold, heroic move. It was a necessary choice, the outcome of a path that brought me to a crossroads. On one side, the safety of a contract, benefits, someone else’s signature at the bottom of every document. On the other, uncertainty but also the chance to recognize myself in what I do, to choose the projects, the people, the values.<\/p>\n

I chose uncertainty.<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the truth: freedom is not what you see in motivational posts.<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not waking up late or working from a beach with a MacBook on your lap. It\u2019s responsibility. <\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

It\u2019s building trust, one client at a time. <\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

It\u2019s feeling alone, sometimes. <\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

But also alive.<\/p>

 <\/p>\n

Because every step you take is yours. <\/p>


<\/p>

Even the wrong ones.<\/p>


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve learned that freedom is not doing whatever you want. <\/p>


<\/p>

It\u2019s knowing what you\u2019re willing to give up to stay true to yourself. <\/p>


<\/p>

It\u2019s learning to say no, even when everything around you pushes you to say yes. It\u2019s creating a space where your work is not about proving something to someone but about building something that matters.<\/p>


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Today I work on projects I believe in.<\/p>


<\/p>

I sit at the table with entrepreneurs, managers, investors. I bring my perspective, my skills but also my story. I don\u2019t hide behind a corporate mask. <\/p>


<\/p>

If they call me, it\u2019s because of who I am. Not the title on a business card.<\/p>


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know if this is what real freedom looks like. <\/p>


<\/p>

But I know it\u2019s mine.<\/p>\n
